As a Client Director, you will be a driving force within our client relationships; establishing genuine partnerships with clients and being an inspiring leader of our multidisciplinary teams.

Our Client Directors build sustainable, long-lasting partnerships by understanding client ambitions and helping teams translate these into outcomes that tackle challenges and push forward businesses.

Commercially and creatively astute, you will be responsible for the overall commercial health and growth of client relationships and you will be pivotal to championing work that sets a new benchmark for us and our clients.

As the relationship lead, you will inspire confidence within our clients, their wider businesses, and within our teams, cultivating an optimistic mindset and implementing highly collaborative ways of working to get the best from each team member and every partnership.

Responsibilities

Be a leading presence within relationships

demonstrating passion and sharing experiences with clients and teams to create trusted partnerships.

Build a strong understanding of clients' business cultures

to design processes that target their unique organisational needs.

Act as a champion of our work

conveying our thought processes and presenting our solutions, being willing to challenge clients when necessary.

Understand how to create six-star relationships

identifying opportunities to create memorable moments and experiences throughout client journeys.

Track relevant market/cultural trends

influencing client businesses and industries.

Work with strategic and creative leadership

to direct the development of output, ensuring it aligns with client visions, but also pushes our team's thinking forward.

Share the responsibility of client satisfaction and account finances

with creative leadership.

Lead the creation of strategic account plans

detailing strategies to improve and grow our client partnerships in line with our agency ambitions.

Interrogate client briefs to ensure there is clarity and purpose behind each opportunity

Where necessary, translate these into internal briefs that distil any opportunity.

Build bespoke proposals and methodologies

that leverage our unique ways of working, continuously exploring new methods of collaboration and partnership.

Be responsible for

the accurate scoping of a project, revenue forecasting and financial reporting processes.

Ensure projects are delivered in an accurate and timely manner

setting and re-setting clear expectations from kick-off through to delivery.

Connect the dots between work-streams within larger relationships

ensuring teams have an awareness of other work, and our clients are made aware of potential dependencies between projects.

Lead new business conversations from brief to conversion

fielding briefing calls, completing RFIs and RFPs, developing bespoke proposals, leading pitch processes, and navigating commercial negotiations and contract terms.

Act as a leading member of pitch teams

co-ordinating efforts, steering pitch teams and presentation development, and presenting our agency methodology, pitch responses, and diverse processes.

Develop a clear understanding of the DS offer

and be confident speaking to our capabilities and key disciplines.

Line manage junior members of the client services team

acting as a mentor and coach, taking an active interest in supporting their professional development.

Be a vocal member of the client services team

contributing to improving our ways of working and suggesting agency initiatives.
